Mattress Advice.

Mattress Advice - MoneySavingExpert.com Forums: "A good quality pocket sprung/memory foam mattress can be quite expensive. Stay away from the reflex foam encapsulated pocket spring type, and go for full size steel pocket springs. If you are putting it on a slatted base with gaps of more than 1", then you would need to do one of the following: Add extra slats to close the gaps up to 1" Lay a sheet of pegboard or hardboard over the slats Get mattress with memory foam on both sides, so that the memory foam on the bottom will spread the weight out over the slats, and is suitable for gaps of up to 3" Pocket sprung/memory foam would probably be the best option, as it will mould to your body without causing pressure points. If you can't afford a good quality pocket sprung/memory foam mattress, then go for pocket sprung only."
